Kasarmitori’s summer terrace opens to the public, bigger than ever, on June 12, 2025!

This summer, Superterassi will rise in the heart of Helsinki at Kasarmitori – a unique, open-to-all summer terrace offering quality food, drinks, and events right in the city center.
Superterassi is a lively and diverse event hub where locals as well as domestic and international tourists can enjoy themselves.

Superterassi brings together top restaurants in Helsinki, international flavors, carefully selected drink vendors, and a high-quality, versatile event program.

Superterassi is open from June 12 to August 14, 2025.

Every day at 10:00 AM: Podme live podcast

Podcast service Podme brings its studio to the heart of Helsinki at Superterassi. You’ll get to watch and follow your favorite podcast hosts recording live on-site.

Every Tuesday at 6:00 PM: KARAOKE – IHKU Pop Up Karaoke

In collaboration with Bar Ihku, the outdoor karaoke invites everyone to take the mic. Sing yourself or enjoy others’ performances!

Every Monday and Wednesday at 2:00 PM: Music by Lingonperry

Lingonperry brings gigs from exciting artists to Superterassi every Monday and Wednesday. Come listen to rising stars at Kasarmitori!

Lingonperry is a new publishing platform designed especially for creators of new music – for both independent artists and labels.

Community sing-alongs every other Thursday at Superterassi at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

In collaboration with UKKO.fi, we host Allsång på Superterassi where everyone can sing along! Singing skills don’t matter – it’s all about enthusiasm and community.

Sing-along dates: June 19, July 3, July 17, July 31, and August 14.

Every Sunday: Family Sundays

Every Sunday is Family Sunday at Superterassi. In addition to amazing food and drinks, the program features family-friendly activities. Expect favorite artists for kids (and adults!) and familiar faces from YouTube.

At Superterassi, Helsinki’s history and today’s vibrant city culture come together in a wonderful way.

7:00 PM Ilari Hämäläinen show

A film compiled from 8mm reels found in the estate of architect and cinephile Kari Nissinen (1941–2021) begins in the late 1950s, moves through the 1970s via tram lines 3T and 3B and partly through the now-vanished wooden neighborhoods, ending in Kaivopuisto in the early 1990s.

The silent films are accompanied by the Helsinki-based Rubber Motor Band. Members include Leena Virtanen, Ray Rummukainen, Iiro Pennanen, Tero Mikkonen, and Timo Partanen.
